Stella & Dot: Laurie's Favorite Pieces
While Krista is living it up in Europe, she has asked me to do a guest post. She loves her followers so much she didn't want anyone to get bored (she really is the best!)
You may remember the Stella & Dot giveaway on the blog at the beginning of November, well this time I am back to share my favorite pieces with you!
If any of you have some money to spend from Christmas or are a little late and still need to buy a few gifts, here are some great ideas. Stella & Dot items come wrapped and ready to gift if you so choose.
Wesley Pendant $98
This beautiful necklace is a great gold and brass piece that can be worn more than one way! When I first got this piece I loved the length, but then I decided I wanted it to be shorter as well. Well, you can wrap the chain around (and through the pendant) twice to make it a shorter statement necklace. It is a must have!
I wear this bracelet at least 3 times a week! It is so easy to put on with any outfit and is great for small wrists. It comes in gold and silver so you can pick which you prefer! Because it is one continual bracelet that wraps, it is the perfect size for everyone! It is a great addition to any arm party!
Gigi Stud $24
These cute earrings come in black or orange. I love the simplicity of these studs and the orange wants are such a perfect pop of color. Stella & Dot (stelladot.com/laurielizsmith) earrings are great quality (like all the products) but these are relatively cheap earrings that would be perfect for anyone!
One thing I love about several Stella & Dot rings is that you can size them yourselves. This is one of those rings! You can put it on any finger you want and size it accordingly! Isn't that great? You won't regret this purchase!
If you have any questions or comments about Stella & Dot, don't hesitate to ask!
(Guess who made this amazing image?? You guessed it, the Southern Shopaholic herself!)

Lauren from A Monogram Love Affair
Hey all of you Southern Shopaholic readers I am Lauren from A Monogram Love Affair. I was so excited when Krista asked me to do a guest post while she was away in London having a fabulous time! I started my blog a few months ago after reading Krista's for quite some time and I definitely have her to thank for helping me decide to create my own. I am a recent college grad but I am returning back to school this year to become a nurse!
I have always been interested in fashion and love playing dress up even to this day. I would describe my style as a mix between girly, preppy, classic and chic. I never pass up anything pink, sparkly or animal print and try to mix patterns any chance i can get! I believe you can never be overdressed and I always enjoy a good excuse to wear heels! Below are some of my recent outfit posts giving you a sense of my style!
I would love for you to come take a look at my blog and let me know what you think!

Summer Wind: Opt for Opulence
I am so glad to be guest blogging
for Krista as she travels… lucky girl! I actually had the pleasure of meeting
Krista in Kentucky at Keeneland! She is as fabulous as her blog! If you are not
familiar with my blog, Summer Wind, I would love for you to go on
over and check it out!
I have recently been eyeing bright
things…rather, things that catch the eye. Layering pretty baubles, adding bright
colors, including bold patterns and luxe fabrics are easy ways to add some
interest to an otherwise boring outfit/day. Here are some of my favorites…
This
bracelet is fabulous. It would
look great alone or paired with several others. ModCloth also carries a matching necklace that is fabulous as well!
Sometimes the only accessory you
need is a bold lip. I like YSL not only for the great pigmented
color but also for the gorgeous gold tube. You’ll look and feel fabulous when
you pull the pretty gold tube out of your handbag and apply the color!
Ferragamo’s will really add some
pep in your step. I have the Varinas in lava and am looking to add the beige Vara’s to my collection very soon! They
are the perfect thing to go with your Lilly come spring and the bow will have
you starting at your feet all day (and this time, that’s a good thing!).
A bright,
fun clutch is the
perfect pop for any outfit. I especially love this shade of pink paired with
navy blue. The studded detail adds a little “edge” to a rather simple bag.
Plus, what girl doesn’t love a little something from Bendel’s?!
I love stripes… and pink…and
cashmere. This eye mask reminds me of the fabulous Eloise (at the Plaza). Plus, I
find that looking fabulous while in pajamas is hard work and with this eye
mask, you’ll be sleeping beauty, effortlessly.
Is there something luxe and bold
that you have your eye on? A BIG thank you to Krista for including me on her
blog while she is away! Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
Yours,

still being [molly] Closet Staples: Leather Jacket
Hey everyone! I'm Molly and I blog over at still being [molly] - a blog about my love of fashion, my love for my faith, and a whole lot of general fawesome. I'm SO excited to be guest posting for Krista today. I've been reading Krista's blog since she started and we quickly became good blog friends - well, except for when March comes… I'm a Tar Heel fan. :) But seriously, Krista is awesome so I was honored when she asked me to guest post for her while she's studying abroad!
Anyway. I figured since Krista's been talking about her winter staples a lot over the last few weeks, I thought I'd share a few looks with one of my new closet staples: My leather jacket.
Now, deep down, I am as preppy as they come. I was born and raised in Virginia, was in a very southern sorority in college, and I now live in the southern part of heaven. Pearls and popped collars are like a second language. However, my style has really evolved over the years and I love trying new styles and stepping outside my comfort zone.
If you had told me even a year ago I'd be wearing a black leather moto jacket, shorts, and tights, I'da looked at you like you had six eyes or something.
But, ever since I got this puppy in the mail last month, I've worn it ALL. THE. TIME.
Oh leather jacket, where have you been all my life?
It's just such a versatile piece to have in your closet in the colder months. I mean, dress it up, dress it down, dress it all around. You know what I mean. I also LOVE pairing it with the most unexpected pieces - like a lace dress? COME ON! Sequin shorts? COME ON! A ruffled polka dot dress? BE STILL MY HEART.
What about you? Are you on the leather jacket train? What is your one closet staple this year?

Tickled Pink: Day of Sightseeing
Hi Ladies! I’m Andrea aka Miss Andrea Lee and I blog over at Tickled Pink. I’m so excited to be blogging for Krista while she’s studying abroad!I absolutely love to travel and one of my favorite traveling outfits is the sightseeing one! You know, the one where you mostly shop while you are checking out the city ;) It’s supposed to be comfortable for walking but no one said it couldn’t be cute too!
Like I mentioned, you’ll be doing a lot of walking, so comfortable shoes are key! I love the Tory Burch Carolines, comfortable, chic and easy to pack! For a purse you want something with at least a shoulder strap and hopefully a cross body strap too. You should also always make sure when traveling your purse is zippered on top, so no “roaming” hands end up with your things. I think the Kate Spade ‘Grove Court Maise’ is just perfect! A comfy sweater, nice jeans, a good layering scarf and sunglasses make the outfit complete!Happy sightseeing and shopping!!
