HI! I just wanted to say I LOVE reading your blog. I found it a few days ago and read it from beginning to end. :) Your style is truly an inspiration for me. So since I think you're such a great stylist, I was wondering if you could help me out a bit. I would love to get your opinion on the type of shoes/heels and jewelry you'd wear with this dress:
This is actually going to be my wedding dress. I know it's not the typical formal dress to get married in, but my wedding isn't your typical wedding either, which is exactly what me and my fiance want! Everything is falling into place for the big day but my accessories, so if you can give me any thoughts that can put me in the right direction, I'd so appreciate it!
Hey Alicia! First off, thank you for the kind words about my blog :) It means a lot to me that you enjoy it! Your dress is super cute!! I would pair it with nude pumps (they go with everything) as for jewelry, I'd go for gold things. Gold and lace are amazing together! For your wedding, you want to make sure it's very simple though with jewelry because that's not the main focus! I would say a simple chain bracelet, or something along those lines would be nice. Also, avoid necklaces! I think this dress looks great without a necklace. It's so pretty on its own, there is no need for one! As far as earrings go, you really have a lot of room to do whatever with them! Big studs or dangling earrings would look great! I hope that helps :) Let me know if you need anything else!
Thank so much for the quick reply, it's awesome to hear from you! And that's what I was thinking and looking for, nude and gold. There are so many choices for nude heels out now that it's almost overwhelming, but now that I have your opinion I think I can finally make a decision! And yes, I agree with only wearing bracelets and earrings. I'm actually getting my great grandma's diamond studs to wear (and keep) on my wedding day, so it's all about finding bracelets now. I'm glad you like the dress, it's a backyard wedding in Miami so being sweet and pretty, while staying comfortable was important to me. Thanks so much again! :)
