Summer Wind: Opt for Opulence

I am so glad to be guest blogging for Krista as she travels… lucky girl! I actually had the pleasure of meeting Krista in Kentucky at Keeneland! She is as fabulous as her blog! If you are not familiar with my blog, Summer Wind, I would love for you to go on over and check it out!

I have recently been eyeing bright things…rather, things that catch the eye. Layering pretty baubles, adding bright colors, including bold patterns and luxe fabrics are easy ways to add some interest to an otherwise boring outfit/day. Here are some of my favorites…

This bracelet is fabulous. It would look great alone or paired with several others. ModCloth also carries a matching necklace that is fabulous as well!

Sometimes the only accessory you need is a bold lip. I like YSL not only for the great pigmented color but also for the gorgeous gold tube. You’ll look and feel fabulous when you pull the pretty gold tube out of your handbag and apply the color! 

Who doesn’t love a cocktail ring?! This Kate Spade pretty is sure to turn heads.

Ferragamo’s will really add some pep in your step. I have the Varinas in lava and am looking to add the beige Vara’s to my collection very soon! They are the perfect thing to go with your Lilly come spring and the bow will have you starting at your feet all day (and this time, that’s a good thing!).

A bright, fun clutch is the perfect pop for any outfit. I especially love this shade of pink paired with navy blue. The studded detail adds a little “edge” to a rather simple bag. Plus, what girl doesn’t love a little something from Bendel’s?!

I love stripes… and pink…and cashmere. This eye mask reminds me of the fabulous Eloise (at the Plaza). Plus, I find that looking fabulous while in pajamas is hard work and with this eye mask, you’ll be sleeping beauty, effortlessly.
