If you need to know one thing about Kentucky, you need to know it rains. And when it rains, it pours. It will rain for a straight week sometimes. But I guess that's the price you have to pay if you want all the green grass and amazing horse parks. It's not that I hate the rain, it just brings about a different outfit that needs to be worn. I remember the first year here I didn't even own a pair of rain boots! Now I own around 5 pairs... and I wear them all.
I have two pairs in particular I wear all the time. My first pair being my monogrammed rain boots. I remember when I first came across these bad boys. My (awesomely dressed) COM teacher had a pair and I fell in love. So I bought a pair for myself!
The second pair of rain boots are my Sperry's. These boots are quilted, hunter green and SUPER preppy! I mean how can you not love these boots. They're lined on the inside so they're perfect for snow as well. Just all around a great pair of boots, and they're on sale!

love these!! the monogrammed ones are my fave!!! i have a pair of rainboots from Thomas Pink London that i LOVEEEEEEEE. they're my go-to!
ReplyDeleteSo I just started following your blog and I'm from Kentucky too! (The Western part...Murray specifically!) I completely understand the need for rain boots, especially when walking across UK's campus in the pooring rain. I went there my freshman year and it was miserable when it rained! Love the monogrammed touch to them!:)
