The Ghost of Halloween Past

I know Halloween is right around the corner and this is the time to start thinking about what you're going to be for the night. (Or at least I am)... I seriously have no idea what I'm going to be this year, or if I'm even going out (the last game of the World Series is on Halloween). But I thought I would share my costume from last year. It was a big hit and really easy to make! Something that not a ton of people think of. So I hope this helps come up with ideas!

Supplies:

Cardboard box

Red & White Paint

Two yard sticks

Red ribbon

Tape

and Yourself!

I just cut out the top and bottom of a cardboard box and used a flap as the "top" of the kissing booth. Then used a lot of tape to connect the yard sticks to the top and bottom. Cut out two little holes on the front and back and thread ribbon through it to make suspenders for yourself to wear. Then decorate accordingly and charge a good price!

What to Wear to Keeneland in the Fall

It hurts my heart writing this post knowing that I wont be at Keeneland for this fall meet! But for the help of others, I will still write my yearly "What to Wear to Keeneland" post. I know it's the fall, and in the past we've usually talked about only long sleeve dresses and quilted coats with riding boots, but as everyone knows the weather has been so all over the place. I took that into consideration and also have added some warmer weather looks to this post. I also added a little commentary under each dress as for what to pair everything with. The Proper way to Crop

I'm all about some crop tops, as long as they're paired correctly. I fell in love with this bow crop when I saw it so I had to get it right away but for the longest time I was looking for something to wear it with. I'm not one for showing off too much skin so the idea of bringing the skirt to the crop came to mind. I really love the idea of a crop top and high wasted skirt (or short or pant.. etc).
