My Trip: New York, NY

As most of you remember, I recently went to New York! It was my first time in a long time (since middle school?) and I had a blast. I went to specifically go to the IFB conference, but I explored the city so I thought I'd share that! Tomorrow will be What I Wore to the conference :) So be sure to check back!

Can I just start off by saying this was the only commercial playing in every taxi I entered. I am not complaining...

I was also able to meet a good friend of mine for breakfast. He showed me around the MLB office (where I could possibly be working). It was the coolest experience! 

After the conference, Shelby from Glitter and Gingham, Rachel from Just Peachy and I walked around NY. Our first stop was Shake Shack. I had never heard of it before, but I guess it's pretty famous? After eating there, I can see why! It was SO good!

Also found a Pret (thought these were only in London!)

Of course we had to stop by New York Fashion Week!

The blizzard cut my time short in NY, but I still had a wonderful time and I'm excited to go back! What I wore posts will be tomorrow!

Adelé Lexington

I recently found about this hidden gem here in the heart of Lexington: Adelé! Who knew such a wonderful store was right under my nose all these years. Adelé is a lifestyle boutique that literally has everything. They have things for the home, jewelry and handbags! The best part about it are the wonderful workers. They are seriously SO sweet. Lucy and I went to check out the store and we snapped some pictures. Take a look:

Valenties Day

Happy Valentines day! I hope you're stuffing your face with reese's peanut butter cups (they're my favorite) and enjoying all the day has to offer. I haven't decided on what I'm wearing for the special day, but I will be updating my outfit via instagram if you want to check it out @Kristalinn14

My Trip: Charleston, SC

If you remember a couple weekends ago, I went to Charleston SC with a very good friend of mine, Lucy (check out her blog). And we couldn't have picked a better weekend to leave Lexington! It was a spur of the moment kind of trip (which are the best) because we just wanted warmer weather and the beach. To our surprise Lexington was hit with a nasty little snow storm the day after we left. So while we were enjoying ourselves on a boat and wearing flip flops, our friends were stuck inside trying to warm from the snow. 

Talk about some perfect timing! The weekend was amazing. All and all Lucy and I had a wonderful time. We were able to visit a friend we went abroad with, have wonderful food, go out on a sailboat, and hit the town. Of course I took some photos for y'all:

I've only been to South Carolina once and it was to Hilton Head, but can I just say I love this state? It was so beautiful. Lucy and I were driving back and we decided we needed to come back as soon as we can!

Do you Vine?

I'm all about some social media. It's what I love. Plain and simple! All over instagram (has to be my favorite social media outlet), then twitter, then facebook. The main three. But now, there is a new kid on the scene.... Vine!

Vine is a looping video service through twitter (for those who don't know) that has really swept the nation. I have yet to really master it, but I have been getting better! I love it to show my outfit for the day and the details of what I'm wearing.
