Weekend Fun

There is no surprise when I say I've been missing! Finals are this week and last week kicked my butt so this weekend consisted a LOT of me sleeping and celebrating while I can. So sorry for the absence.

To start off, I went out Friday night. Here's what I wore:

This weekend, I also got a new accessory  for my (cracked and beaten) iPhone:

I saw this on pinterest and I had to get it! I love my phone, I use it for everything! It's just a little half inch vinyl sticker. I found it on etsy, you can buy them here.

Since we're on the topic of iPhones, I've been asked a lot what are some of my favorite apps. I wanted to share my top 5 with you all. There is no certain order for any of these!

I'm always using my phone for pictures and this app has some of the coolest effects! This is also the one to get the light spots on a lot of my pictures. It also works with instagram!

Instagram:

There is no hiding my love for this app. I think everyone should have it! It's just a place to share pictures, nothing else. All the fun of facebook without the drama! If you don't have it, download it! I promise you wont regret it. Also, if you're feeling nice, follow me! @kristalinn14

Pandora

A lot of you already know what pandora is and the amazingness behind it. I love having it on my phone for workout, in the car, getting ready, and studying! It's so much better than my ipod because it has a ton of songs and it always seems to know what I want to listen to when I don't.

Twitter

Twitter. Of course. I live for twitter! Once again, better than facebook. I get a brief summary (140 characters or less) of what friends are up to, news, and hot topics. You really can't go wrong.

Sleep Cycle

Last but no least, sleep cycle. My sister turned me onto this app. It monitors your sleeping cycle by your movement during the night. It's a pretty interesting app that I suggest buying (.99 cents). Mine is a little off considering I have a cat who sleeps with me, so it tracks her motion as well as my own. But it's still pretty handy. The best part about it, in my opinion, is you can set an alarm that is in a 30 minute time. And during that 30 minutes, it finds when you are in your lightest sleep, and it will wake you up! That way you feel refreshed and ready for the day!

What I Wore: Presentation Day 2

Thursday was day 2 of big presentations for finals! Here's what I wore :) We had to dress business casual for this presentation, I love this dress so I was pretty excited to wear it! Bows and stripes, you cant go wrong! 

I did have some trouble deciding what shoes to wear with the dress! I took to instagram (@kristalinn14) with this picture, asking you to choose! White or cheetah?

What I Wore: Presentation Day 1

Today was the first of two final presentations I have to do for finals week. This one today had no dress requirement, but I still wanted to look presentable. That however, did no go over with others in my class. Some people showed up in complete sweats, hats, and workout attire.

Maybe it's just me, but you always want to look good during a presentation. I mean, all eyes are on YOU for the next 5 minutes. At the very least, you want to look credible for whatever you are presenting.

Where in the World

If you haven't noticed, I have been completely MIA for the past few days. One word: finals.

Finals are a week away and classes are currently in dead week. I think they call it dead week because the students literally die from the overload of homework, papers, presentations and procrastination. It's hard to believe the semester is almost OVER! Eek! Where has the time gone?! And how exactly do I get it back?

The past few days have consisted of me in (dare I say it) in sweats. Yuck right? I'm usually opposed to ever wearing sweats in public but when it comes to 12 hours at a time at the library, my main concern is comfort. I had two major papers due today, 10 pages each, and a presentation all due today. Another presentation and take home exam due Thursday. Remember how I mentioned dead week? It just might kill me...

I'll be back on the blogger grind normally again come Thursday. Until then, I will leave you with some homework and study photos
