What I wore: Class

It's class time again! Something simple and cute to wear is always my main goal when dressing for class. I was always bothered by people who come super dressed up to class, so I strive to not try too hard, but at the same time not looking like a slob.

Now when I say the word "poncho" does this image pop into your head?

Well thats what I imagined too. That was until I bought this really cute poncho from BlueTique (it's now on sale for $5 at the store) I decided to wear it today because it's going to be in the 60's but windy. So I thought I would wear a lite jacket (aka my poncho) long sleeve shirt, jeans and boots of course. Here's my outfit:

Poncho: Bluetique
Jeans: Flying Monkeys
Boots: Restricted

I actually really love this poncho. It has a cute little hood, pockets and actual sleeves (since it's stitched on the side). The color is really different than anything I own so I think I like it that much more!

What are your thoughts? Still hate it or are you pleasantly surprised?
Can I pull it off?

My Style: Blazers

Okay, let's just get it out in the open. I love a lot of things. I find myself always saying "Oh, I love this!" and "I love that!" But I'm serious about it all. I just love clothes, plain and simple. They're the best part of my day and there are so many things you can create with clothes. I just love them!

So this post wont be any different. Except today, I love blazers. They're great to wear for work, going out, running errands, or even class. Just about anything, right? Different colors can make the outfit. Not to mention blazers are very in right now.

Little did I know, I was way ahead of the curve! Freshman year I bought my first black blazer from Arden B. I thought it was so classy and so cute to pair with a white tank, jeans and heels! (here's a little throwback picture of me and my big from freshman year)

Since then, my collection has grown (of course). But before I show you my blazers, I'll show you some inspiration pictures that really got me started.

All different colors, all different ways to wear them!

Now here are my blazers:

(left to right)
White Blazer: Macy's (studs on the sleeves- how fun!)
Black Blazer: Arden B
Brown Blazer: Michael Kors

Green Blazer: Forever21
Navy Blazer: Michael Kors (perfect fit!)

And for the finale:

The last three are my favorite blazers. They're light weight and honestly perfect! They're all from H&M. They have a TON of different colors and they're usually around $24! H&M doesn't really have a good shopping website online, so I just suggest going to the store near you and buying these. Out of all the blazers I've seen and own, H&M really have my heart.

This post is for one of my littles, M. She keeps saying she wants colored blazers that aren't very heavy. And I keep telling her H&M. Then she asks again, I tell her again. Then she'll post it online and I'll comment with H&M. Maybe one of these days she'll learn? Hopefully. Until then, go to H&M.

What I wore: Monday

First off, sorry for not posting yesterday! It was a busy day. Monday's are like my Sunday's. Since I don't have classes until Tuesday, Mondays are the day to get everything done. But I did still take pictures of my outfit from yesterday. I wasn't quite sure how to classify the day since I did so many things, so I decided to call it "Monday"

Started off at Bluetique and made some phone calls that I didn't have time to make at work on Sunday. Then it was off to go to Kroger and get food for my new food plan! After that I went to Worlds Apart (the big sister store of BlueTique) to tag clothes for the sale!!! I will talk about that more later- so check back. It's going to be big. And I did that for the next 4 hours.... yes 4 hours. At least I get paid for it! After that it was the usual workout, dinner and studying, so here's the outfit for the day :)

Dresses and cowboy boots are my favorite combination, ever!! It's so girly, cute, southern, and easy to do!
Lace dress from Calypso
Another great necklace from my mom!

See through lace arms. Notice the triangle edges, super fun!

Grey cowboy boots from Calypso

I'll do another post about nail polish, but as a quick side note, I love changing my nail polish every week! This week I'm trying something new. Painting one nail a different color. This week all nine fingers are green and my left hand pointer finger is pink. So far I love it!

What I wore: Work

Again for the work outfit! Just wanted to be comfortable in jeans! Sunday's are usually the days we pick up the store, restock from the weekend, and do any little things that our boss needs us to do! Started my day out with a workout since the gym closes by the time I was out of work and church. So it was up bright and early for me! I thought I'd share a little picture with you all

Nothing makes a morning workout better than some spongebob! Time for some reason just seemed to fly by...

Now on to my work outfit for the day! All black with gold jewlery
This top is awesome! It's sheer and see-through but all of the black detail is velvet. Super fun find at Forever21!

 Top: Forever21
Jeggings: Flying Monkey
Shoes: Steve Madden Pammy

In mom's last care package, she sent me a bunch of new necklaces!! This was one of them. Isn't she awesome? She says I'm her personal shopper, but maybe now she's mine? Who knows, but keep em coming Mom! Love you!

Sale Day!

Wow, what a day! Woke up at 730 to get set up before the sale started. I'll say it was a HUGE advantage working the sale! I got to personally shop each store and before anyone else! No waiting in line, no dealing with crazy shoppers and no lines in the dressing room. It was great! I got some wonderful deals and I can't wait to show them off!

But first, let's talk about this sale! I believed them when they said it was going to be crazy, but wow! There were over 1,000 people there- the line literally never stopped. I'm surprised there were any clothes left. Here are a few pictures I snagged when I actually had a second!
